Welcome to our website!
It feels like it’s been a long time coming… but after many many hours of chipping away (I now have a renewed appreciation for the work that website designers do!!), we are so excited to finally launch our website! And thank you for visiting it!
Why a website? It’s been on our ‘to do list’ for a while, but we’ve just never had the time. But with COVID ramping up here in NZ in early 2022 - it has provided an opportunity and extra motivation to work on the online aspects of our business a little more while in-person markets are on hold! We wanted to give our little business a proper home (besides our Etsy shop) - where we can tell our story, showcase our designs and products and maybe even one day soon - sell our products directly on our own website!
Building the website has been a huge job - many evenings and weekends have been spent on it - not just putting together the content and words, but finding (and taking!) photographs of our designs and products - and editing these photos so they have a consistent look! It has involved a lot of learning new ‘skills’ - which has been fun!
Going through this process has also involved revisiting our entire print collection, and printing them so that high quality images can be posted on our website - and it has been a lot of fun revisiting some of our older designs that we haven’t printed for a while!
As always, we have more exciting ideas than hours in the day… but we hope to grow our website as time goes on, and as we mentioned earlier - hopefully one day move our online shop over to our own site!
